Classes will state if they are IN PERSON, VIRTUAL, or HYBRID. Hybrid classes will allow for both in person or remote attendance. You will receive the Zoom link with registration for virtual and hybrid classes.
Please keep vaccinations up-to-date for in-person attendance. At this time, masks are optional inside the classroom; please be mindful of our shared space. Hybrid and virtual classes include a class recording.
Sewing Sessions with Erin IN PERSON
August 31, 12-2 PM, $30
Ready to build your skills, try something new, or get out of the house & chat with other sewing folk? Join instructor Erin West for support & guidance in this 2-hour group sewing workshop. Bring a project, ask questions and brainstorm new ideas. Must be comfortable setting up a machine & working independently. Use of our classroom equipment included (machine, iron, scissors, etc) or BYO favorite tools.
Include your project info so the instructor can prepare to best help you.
Learn to Crochet Series HYBRID
August 2 + 9, 10 AM- 12PM, $60
Get started with the basics of crochet with a dishcloth and a handy little basket! We will learn to form a chain, single crochet flat and in the round, and crochet increases. These skills will get you started, whether you're making blankets, bags, or Amigurumi! No experience necessary.

Sew Your Own: Riley Overalls IN PERSON
August 3, 10, 17 + 24, 11 am-2 pm, $180
You could have strawberry overalls!
Make your overall (or shortall) dreams come true with this classic pattern! We will learn basic fit adjustments to size and length, and get lots of practice sewing darts, pockets, hems and topstitching, using fusible interfacing, and installing tack buttons and hardware. Students should be comfortable sewing independently by machine, maintaining a seam allowance, and have previous experience sewing garments from a pattern. We will cut our patterns and fabric together in class.

Mid to heavyweight fabric such as denim, canvas, or twill for your size (Prewashed)
Pocket lining fabric (1/2 yard, lightweight, Prewashed)
Fusible midweight interfacing (1/2 yard, like SF101)
A set of two 1.5" overall clasps and sliders
6 Jeans/dungaree buttons with tacks (like these)
Denim needle or heavyweight needle suitable for your fabric
Thread to match (all-purpose)
Your working sewing machine (or rent one of ours) with manual and buttonhole attachment
You may want to bring your own basic sewing kit (fabric shears, clear ruler, tape measure, straight pins, seam gauge, seam ripper) but we do have shared tools available for use in the classroom

Work In Progress Help IN PERSON

We've all got a Work In Progress that could use some help! Join instructor Amie Palmer most Fridays for assistance with your knitting or crochet projects. This is an ongoing group class for students who are starting, working on, or need help completing projects. If you have any questions about whether your project is appropriate for this class, please contact the shop with a description.
