Classes

We believe in you! You can learn to make it yourself!

Class descriptions include all the details of upcoming classes and the materials required. The registration page includes pricing, and links to sign up. The calendar also includes activities like our Craft Club (every Sunday 3-5 pm) and other special events. Classes will specify if they are IN PERSON, VIRTUAL, or HYBRID. Please keep vaccinations up-to-date to attend classes in-person.

COVID POLICIES:

We ask students to maintain up-to-date vaccinations to attend in-person classes. Masks are now optional inside the shop and classroom. Please be respectful of others comfort levels and personal space. If you have any symptoms (fever, sore throat, cough) or known exposure, or do not meet the requirements for in-person attendance, you may join class remotely or watch class recordings for specified classes.

General Class Policies:

Payment is due in full at time of registration.

We must receive notice at least 48 hours before a class for a refund or credit. No refund or credit will be possible with less than 48 hours notice. For classes with more than one session, notice must be received before the first session.

Classes are for ages 14+ unless specified in the class description.

Class supplies can be purchased at a 10% discount, just notify us during checkout or request the class code for online orders. Most classes ask students to select their preferred materials prior to the class; we can happily assist you in selecting the best materials to suit your style and project!

For sewing classes, students are expected to bring their own working machine. We have a limited number of shop machines that can be reserved for classes. Unless otherwise stated, students should wash and dry fabric prior to the class.

If a class must be cancelled due to weather or instructor illness, students will have the option of rescheduling when possible, or a refund of the class fee.

Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled class may not be admitted, and will not receive a refund.

Classes may require the use of tools and equipment that are sharp, hot, or otherwise carry risk of injury. Classes will cover the safest operation of tools, but students accept the inherent risk of taking part in handcraft classes.
