The Collage Top is a fantastic beginner pattern for starting to learn about sizing, construction and simple alterations! A classic box top with a gathered twist, you can make it out of all one fabric or start to customize with different colors & prints. Perfect for a confident beginner or for a second project! Bring washed & pressed fabric to the first class - we'll go over all the prep work and cutting - but no sewing machine is needed until the second class.

1.75 - 3 yards of light to medium weight fabric depending on size and width of fabric

Basic Sewing Kit: sharp fabric shears, 2 x 18” clear ruler, tape measure, straight pins, seam gauge, seam ripper.

Skills learned: sizing, lengthen/shorten pattern, pinning & cutting, sewing & finishing seams, gathering, working with bias, topstitching, understitching, hems.
