Have you seen the Melt the Ice Hat? In the 1940’s, Norwegians made and wore red pointed hats with a tassel as a form of visual protest against Nazi occupation of their country. Within two years, the Nazis made these protest hats illegal. Proceeds from the sale of the pattern go to support those affected by ICE. Join us to learn the skills needed to knit this symbol of resistance! Students should be able to knit and purl, we'll go over joining in the round, decreases, and finishing!
