Classes will state if they are IN PERSON, VIRTUAL, or HYBRID. Hybrid classes will allow for both in person or remote attendance. You will receive the Zoom link with registration for virtual and hybrid classes.
Please keep vaccinations up-to-date for in-person attendance. At this time, masks are optional inside the classroom; please be mindful of our shared space. Hybrid and virtual classes include a class recording.
Knitting in the Round: Jeweled Beanie HYBRID
May 3, 10, 31, 1-3 PM, $90
You know how to knit and purl, so let's move from flat squares to knitting in the round. Knit your first hat and learn skills for all sorts of future projects. We will cover knitting in the round, decreasing, reading charts, and finishing techniques. Students should be able to cast-on, knit, and purl.

Sewing Sessions with Erin IN PERSON
May 4, 12-2 PM, $30
Ready to build your skills, try something new, or get out of the house & chat with other sewing folk? Join instructor Erin West for support & guidance in this 2-hour group sewing workshop. Bring a project, ask questions and brainstorm new ideas. Must be comfortable setting up a machine & working independently. Use of our classroom equipment included (machine, iron, scissors, etc) or BYO favorite tools.
Include your project info so the instructor can prepare to best help you.
English Paper Piecing IN PERSON
May 24, 11 am- 3 pm, $60
Learn the basic methods of English Paper Piecing (or EPP) including: glue basting, cutting, and folding 1 inch hexagons; attaching hexis to each other, and prepping your pieces for use in a larger project. You will also learn some tips and tricks about EPP throughout. No sewing experience required.
You will be sent home with a pattern and instructions for a basic e-reader sleeve.

Required Supplies:
- 5 fat quarters in coordinating prints
- Quilt batting measuring roughly 8” x 14”
- Sewline Glue Pen (or Purple Elmer’s Glue stick)
- Basic Sewing Kit (scissors, pins, marking tools) or use classroom supplies
- DecoBob Thread
- A thimble in your size (leather is preferable)
Provided by Instructor:
- 1 in hexagon pieces printed on Perfect Piecing paper (you may wish to buy your own Perfect Piecing paper as well)
Knit Skills: Summer Sorrel Sweater HYBRID CLASS
May 24, June 7, 21, + July 5, 3:30- 5:30 PM, $120
Your new favorite summer tee awaits! This short sleeve tee is knit seamlessly from the top down and features a dip stitch yoke, I-cord cast on, charts, and short rows. The body is worked inside out, saving you from miles of purling. Students must be comfortable knitting and purling in the round, and working basic increases and decreases. Sweater experience is recommended but not required.

Required Materials:
Printed copy of the Summer Sorrel pattern (PDF via the designer or Ravelry)
Fingering weight yarn in one or 3+ colors and yardage appropriate to your size, between 2-5 skeins (refer to the gray section for sizing and yardage requirements)
US 5/ 3.75 mm circular needles - students may wish to work the neckline on a 16" needle and then switch to longer needles, or use a 32" throughout for magic loop
General knitting kit including stitch markers, darning needle, pen/pencil, etc.
Learn to Sew: Tool Roll IN PERSON CLASS
May 25, 11 am-2 pm, $45
In this class, students will learn all the basic steps to sewing by machine, including how to set up the machine, adjust the settings, change a needle, wind a bobbin, and sew straight lines. Students will sew a tool roll that can be customized to hold anything from knitting needles or clay tools to pens and pencils.

Required Materials:
Your working sewing machine, and any accessories and manual (or rent one of ours)
2 Fat Quarters, or a half yard of quilting cotton (fabric does not need to be prewashed)
A fresh Universal 80/12 machine needle

Work In Progress Help IN PERSON
May 2 + 30, 1-3 pm, $30
We've all got a Work In Progress that could use some help! Join instructor Amie Palmer most Fridays for assistance with your knitting or crochet projects. This is an ongoing group class for students who are starting, working on, or need help completing projects.
